Dinner time had finally arrived, and Monty was more than ready to satisfy his hunger. The group made their way to the restaurant, where they were warmly welcomed by the lovely restaurant manager. A large table was prepared for Monty and his friends, ensuring they could all dine together.

The food on offer was nothing short of amazing, well-prepared and beautifully presented. There was a variety of choices to please every palate. While the selection might not have been as extensive as what Monty was accustomed to on cruise ships, it was more than sufficient. There was something for everyone, including those who wanted a taste of British comfort food. However, on this first day, Monty was determined to explore the local flavours and save the familiar favourites for later.

Monty may have indulged in multiple courses, from delectable starters to mouthwatering mains and a tempting array of desserts. There were jellies, blancmanges, ice creams in various flavours, sponge cakes, biscuits, and so much more to choose from.

By the end of the meal, Monty’s belly was comfortably full, and he suspected his friends were in the same satisfied state. Nobody seemed eager to tackle another course, at least not just yet.
